Morgans Summit

This Movie sounds like a knock off of so many themes. I realize not many Movies contain original themes, but it almost sounds over done already. I will wait to see more on this one though before I really comment on it. I cannot believe this movie is another one it seems Bruce has been tied to what seems like forever! Just make the darn thing already!

The Last Full Measure

Seems like this one has been on his list to do for EVER! The cast of characters has changed a lot too. It may be another one of those where you get your hopes up and it never happens. So far it appears it is on track for as on track as it ever was. Maybe the Writers strike delayed some of the script changes.

Obviously I have no pictures.

Pinkville Announced, Not gonna happen!

Here is Stones own words in a Variety article on the subject:
"On 'Pinkville,' I had a great script and one of the best casts on any of my films, with 40 young actors and Bruce Willis," Stone said. "It's a shame they lost faith in the film, and that they unemployed 500 people right before Christmas. We were three weeks from shooting."

Stone hopes to get his script back so he can revive "Pinkville" down the line.

Assassination of a High School President

This is a Picture from the set. I will replace it when I find a better picture to do it with.

Here is a Sundance report on this one coming out in August. Again it seems like forever away. I really cant wait to see Bruce in another Comedy role. He really is very funny. HEre is what I found out on a Sundance Review:
Director Brett Simon’s feature debut is an intricately crafted high school drama that strays from the typical teenage fare and manages to keep what at first seems like a familiar plot twisting and turning until the very last frame. Combining a keen sense of relief that no one can make you go back to high school with an equally strong desire to return and make all of the cool kids realize that there’s life past graduation, Assassination of a High School President deftly captures a new kind of grown-up teenage angst.

Sophomore Bobby Funke, played with witty nuance by Reece Thompson, is a self-described newspaper dork whose social skills are severely lacking in this high school hierarchy, yet he is instantly recognizable as the person with the most promising future in his class. Determined to win a spot in a coveted summer journalism program, he finds himself at the epicenter of a story that threatens the entire social structure of St. Donovan’s High School--everyone from jocks to misfits to Bruce Willis’s campy and over-the-top principal. The rest of the perfectly cast ensemble creates a high school from hell, where anything seems possible, especially since every character appears to be 16 going on 30. Giving any hints about the way this film turns out would only destroy the fun.

Brett Simon - Brett Simon makes his feature directorial debut with Assassination of a High School President. His music videos with such bands as Queens of the Stone Age, Sum 41, and the Killers combine intricate narratives with visceral performances while maintaining a strong commitment to visual experimentation. Simon's short films and videos have appeared at festivals around the world, including Sundance, Toronto, Telluride, and ResFest. His short The Sailor's Girl screened at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, and Counterfeit Film was made with a photocopy machine and won numerous awards.

The Surrogates

A new Movie on the Horizon for Bruce. Kind of sad they say it wont be out until 2010? That seems like forever from now! Sounds almost like a Korbin Dallas, James Cole, and John Mcclane mix.
Here is what Amazon has to say about the Book: In 2054, everybody in the Central Georgia Metropolis who can afford one owns a surrogate to go out and do things while its owner transmits all the decisions and receives all the effects safely at home. But someone or something is frying surrogates with megavolt electrical charges, and police lieutenant Harvey Greer has to find out who or what. The prime suspect is the Prophet, the quasi-Rastafarian leader of a cult that rioted against the surrogates 15 years ago. It soon seems, however, that the actual, physical perp is a supersurrogate, and the Prophet wouldn't ever use any kind of surrogate.
